Tomorrow, Anderlecht heads to La Louvière for the 1/16th finals of the Cup of Belgium. Unlike Anderlecht, the home team did not have a good dress rehearsal this weekend. The leader in the highest amateur league lost points for the second time this season. Read more »

Anderlecht has sent OHL home with 5-1. It quickly fell behind, but Anders Dreyer put things in order before halftime with two goals. After halftime, Anderlecht continued their offensive with three more goals, including Dreyer's third. Anderlecht lost 3-2 at Standard. Anderlecht led 0-2 at halftime, but in the second half Anderlecht were shipwrecked. Standard scored three goals in ten minutes and after fifteen minutes Anderlecht hung in the ropes. Anderlecht performed weakly after halftime and couldn't make a fist anymore. The Belgian U21 have also won their third EC qualification match yesterday. In and against Hungary it became 0-1. Killian Sardella played the whole match. Mario Stroeykens (pictured) came in at halftime and provided the assist for the only goal in the 70th minute. Read more »

Jan Vertonghen played a prominent role Monday night in the decision to halt the Belgium-Sweden international following the terrorist murder of Swedish fans in Brussels. Along with captain Romelu Lukaku, he immediately agreed when Sweden asked them the question. Read more »

Anderlecht won 3-1 against KV Mechelen, crowning the beautiful tribute to the birthday boy Paul Van Himst. Purple and white played very solidly before halftime, but it only rewarded itself with a goal by Stroeykens. After halftime, Mechelen started well, but it was Dolberg who doubled the score. Still, Mechelen came back into the game through Storm. In extra time, Amuzu finally took away all doubts with a particularly clever header from long distance.
