The RSCA Futures drew 1-1 against their peers Racing Genk this evening. Tristan Degreef (pictured) gave Anderlecht an early lead. After half-time, 15-year-old Konstantinos Karetsas, who left Anderlecht for Genk in January, equalised. Read more »

Charleroi would be the most concrete track in Belgium, according to journalist David Van den Broeck (Het Nieuwsblad and Gazet van Antwerpen). Mazzu would want Colassin. According to transfer specialist Sacha Tavolieri, former player Adrien Trebel is moving to Charleroi for a season. The Frenchman was about to sign for Eupen, but Charleroi would have hijacked Trebel in front of the Pandas. Trebel may therefore return to the Lotto Park on Sunday. Read more »

Yesterday afternoon an 'unknown' player with number 71 entered the field in the friendly game against Patro Eisden. It turned out to be Scottish test player Robbie Ure (19) who refused to extend his contract with Rangers. Anderlecht may see Ure as a successor to Stassin. Read more »

Players who played little or no minutes yesterday (such as Augustinsson, Arnstad, Kana and Dreyer) and players from the Futures were on the field. Anderlecht won once again against Westerlo. It deservedly won 2-1 after a good first half in which Dolberg scored after only a minute. Anderlecht controlled the game and deep in the second half Vertonghen cleverly doubled the score. But just after that, Westerlo came back into the game by scoring against and it even had a great chance to equalise. A red card for Dreyer (after an unfortunate foul) silenced Anderlecht's second half. Anderlecht defended the lead with a man less and STVV continued to threaten regularly, but Dupé and his defence kept the zero for the second time in a row. Anderlecht responded after their poor debut at Union with a 1-0 win against champions Antwerp. Anderlecht certainly did not play great, but showed the necessary fighting spirit. The first half was chance-poor, yet Anderlecht took the lead through a Dolberg penalty just before half-time. After half-time Anderlecht had to back off and Antwerp got a few good chances. Anderlecht had a couple of good breaks and Dreyer hit the post. Next week Anderlecht must confirm this result at STVV. Read more »

Sasha Kljestan, Anderlecht's American former midfielder, will come to kickoff tomorrow at Lotto Park for the match against Antwerp. Kljestan played for Purple and White from 2010 to 2015 and played 180 games in which he scored 25 goals. He became Anderlecht's champion no less than three times. Kljestan hung up his shoes at the beginning of this year. His last club was LA Galaxy. Read more »
