Anderlecht puts things in order after halftime

Anderlecht deservedly won 1-3 in Eupen. It started at lightning speed and scored through Dreyer after only half a minute. But it could not confirm the strong start and Eupen came alongside before half-time. In the second half Anderlecht dominated and scored through an own-goal by Paeshuyse and through the first goal by Vazquez. Although Eupen could have made it 2-2, but Nuhu missed in front of goal. That was the only feat of the Pandas after the break and so Anderlecht could celebrate again after three equal games. Read more »

Anderlecht failed to hold on to a 1-0 lead against Club Brugge. A goal before halftime by Dolberg was wiped out by Skov Olsen with the equalizer after halftime. Anderlecht started energetically, but Club got into the game better. Before halftime, Purple White had to substitute both Dolberg and Delaney due to injury. RSCA Futsal has clinched its first cup of the season. After a 5-1 win over Bilzen in the league opener on Friday night, Anderlecht beat Herentals 6-1 in Roosdaal yesterday.  Cainan was the top scorer of the day with 4 goals, while Saura and Edu also found the net.  Read more »

Anderlecht played 1-1 in Genk in an animated match in which a lot of cards were drawn. However, purple and white played almost the entire match against ten men after two quick yellow for Bah. Still, Genk remained the more dangerous team and Anderlecht could hardly threaten. After half-time, Anderlecht played slightly better and substitute Amuzu scored the 0-1 goal. Vazquez almost scored as well. But in the long extra time, substitute Tolu headed the equaliser just before the final whistle. In itself, a draw at Genk is not a bad result, but giving away the win in the closing stages against ten men is obviously a disappointment. Read more »
