An efficient and good Anderlecht has won no less than 6-0 against Gent. Rits' 1-0 was a lucky shot (deviated ball), but after that Anderlecht was unbeatable. Purple and white led 3-0 at halftime. Gent was then already reduced to ten players and after halftime it even fell to nine after a second exclusion. In the game against AA Gent, Killian Sardella possibly got injured. The defender knocked his ankle over in a duel.
