Colin Coosemans is undisputedly the player of the season at Anderlecht. Yesterday Anderlecht lost the cup final to Club Brugge after a creditable game. The anger in the purple and white camp was enormous because Hans Vanaken touched the ball with his hand in the penalty area, a phase for which in the past the ball was almost always dotted. The explanation behind read, “Hans made no unnatural movement with the arm/hand and the ball was shot from close range against the hand. Just a few days before the cup final, belief in winning among fans does not seem very high. Almost 13 percent see Anderlecht winning while 85 percent see arch-rival Bruges victorious.
