Colin Coosemans is undisputedly the player of the season at Anderlecht. The goalkeeper already ended up in the Jupiler Pro League team of the year and also the club itself proclaimed him player of the season. Yesterday Anderlecht lost the cup final to Club Brugge after a creditable game. The anger in the purple and white camp was enormous because Hans Vanaken touched the ball with his hand in the penalty area, a phase for which in the past the ball was almost always dotted. The explanation behind read, “Hans made no unnatural movement with the arm/hand and the ball was shot from close range against the hand. Just a few days before the cup final, belief in winning among fans does not seem very high. Almost 13 percent see Anderlecht winning while 85 percent see arch-rival Bruges victorious. A solution seems to be in the making for Kristian Arnstad. Het Nieuwsblad reports that talks are underway with Rapid Vienna over a transfer for the young Norwegian.
