Belgium U17 third at Syrenka Cup

YOUTH The Belgian U17 has become third on the Syrenka Cup in Poland. With Loic Masscho, Halim Timiassi, Mathis Suray (picture) and Yari Verschaeren four Anderlecht players participated.


The young Belgians won their first game against Uzbekistan with 4-1. Verschaeren and Suray started in the starting eleven, but both were replaced. Timassi entered the game after 51 minutes. Masscho stayed on the bench. Suray scored the third Belgian goal.

In their second game, Belgium lost 4-1 against Poland. Masscho and Timassi played the entire game. Verschaeren entered after 57 minutes and Suray stayed on the bench.

In the third and final game, Belgium won with 2-0 against Romania. Masscho played the entire game. Verschaeren played 65 minutes and Suray played 77 minutes. Timassi stayed on the bench.
