"At least ten transfers, big names are not a goal"

OTHER With Milic, Musona and Adzic, Anderlecht already has six new players for next season and it will not stop there. "We are aiming at at least ten new players," says chairman Marc Coucke. "Big names can be part of that, but that is not a goal in itself."


"I have read a lot of books about Anderlecht. The legends of the club have become legends here, they didn't come as legends", says Coucke. The chairman knows what the team needs. "More speed, more scoring ability and much more creativity, we were the least efficient team of Play-off 1."

Coucke repeated that he wants eighty percent of the core to be ready by the end of June and that he considers the flow of youth as  very important. "We want to give our youth players a nice career plan, which means a loan can be a possibility."
