Anderlecht started the competition for the fourth time in five years with six out of six. Only last season they did not succeed in that. Last year, Anderlecht scored just one goal on the first two match days. It lasted until matchday eight before Anderlecht scored a ninth goal. It was already the end of September.

In the last ten seasons, Anderlecht never scored more than six times after two match days.

Hattricks from players in the purple-white shirt are scarce. We only recovered six of the last ten seasons. Hanni and Teodorczyk last year, Suarez (2013), Mbokani and De Sutter (2012) and Frutos. (2008)

It is striking that Anderlecht now find their way to goal with a new team. In addition to 'renewed', purple-white is also rejuvenated. With Dimata, Saelemaekers and Cobbaut three players from nineteen or twenty were already twice in the starting eleven.
