Kindermans: "Happy with career switch Evenepoel"

INTERVIEWS As a child, Remco Evenepoel seemed to be made for football, but now he surprises the world as a cyclist. That turnaround came after Anderlecht saw no future in him. "Anderlecht did not believe he would make it to the first team", says youth coordinator Jean Kindermans.


In Het Nieuwsblad Kindermans indicates that Evenepoel might have become a professional footballer. "But then he would not have achieved the world level as he does in cycling now, and we're glad he could make this career switch."
