GAMES Anderlecht can no longer win. For the third time in four league matches, the Purple & White went into the boat. Against Cercle Brugge it became 2-1. The Purple & White then again fails to take advantage of loss of points from the clubs above them.
After only ten minutes, Anderlecht was 1-0 behind. Hazard took advantage of a sea of space and passed Didillon in two times. Mercier and Cardona got chances to decide the match later on. They did not do that and on the other side Gerkens scored with a good shot.

Continue reading Anderlecht did not do well after the break. On the hour Najar hit Hazard. Referee Dierick put the ball on the penalty spot after consultation with the VAR. Bruno did not fail. Even after the deficit, the Anderlecht did not manage to create a threat. Didillon had to keep Hazard from the 3-1. In the final phase, the Cercle received a red card, but the victory was not in danger.
