INTERVIEWS Peter Zulj said goodbye to Sturm Graz yesterday. The game against Ghent will probably be too early, he says to Het Laatste Nieuws. In this newspaper he also briefly introduces himself.

According to Zulj he can play both on the ten and lower on the midfield. "I take the philosophy and the way of playing football from Fred Rutten, I learned that from a conversation with him", according to the Austrian. "I am indeed not the fastest, but I think quickly, I see what others do not see and can do that."

Zulj says he has a good left foot and is dangerous on stationary phases. "I also constantly play ahead," he says. In Austria, Zulj had the image that he was not always motivated. "That's right," he admits, "but I turned the button a few years ago, and now I'm a pro."

Before he signed with Anderlecht, Zulj raised his light with Nemanja Rnic, in 2008 for a moment with Anderlecht. The two were still playing together at Wolfsberger. "He told me that the fans dare to whistle if things are not going well, but I do not have any problems with that, it was also the case with Sturm."
