YOUTH The Pro League has reached an agreement on a reform of the U21 competition next season. The U21 of the 24 professional clubs play in two series. The eight best play in the A series, the 16 others in the B series. The goal: to improve quality.

The classification between the A and B series is based on the Youth License ranking. The clubs in the A series play 21 league games, those in the B series 30. It is almost impossible that Anderlecht will not end up in the A series. But why does this series have fewer match days? "The oldest youth players from our best clubs already have a busy schedule with national selections and possible Youth League," it sounds.

The Pro League has been looking for a while for a way to make the U21 act at a higher level. Integration in the amateur competition went bad. Hence this solution. For the time being it applies to one season, the following.
