Doku, Kalulika and co to EC U17

YOUTH The national U17 has qualified as group winner for the European Championships next summer. In Hungary it won its three games in the elite round. Jeremy Doku and Chris Kalulika had a large share in the qualification with their goals.


In their first match in the elite round, the Belgians defeated Bosnia-Herzegovina with 1-0. In duel two, Norway was beaten wit 3-0. Kalulika scored twice in that game, Doku once. In the match for the group win, Belgium beat Hungary with 4-2. Doku scored twice from the penalty spot.

In addition to Doku and Kalulika, Anderlecht players Killian Sardella, Rob Nizet, Marco Kana (captain) and Anouar Ait El Hadj also participated with the Belgian U17.

The European Championship takes place from 3 to 19 May in Ireland. Sixteen countries participate. Tomorrow the draw for the group stage takes place.
