OTHER According to the latest reports, the searches at Anderlecht, among others, are the result of an investigation into the transfer of Aleksandar Mitrovic in 2015 from Anderlecht to Newcastle. That would involve a lot of black money.

House searches were also carried out at the headquarters of the Belgian Football Union and at the One Goal Management real estate agency. That agency would have been involved in the transfer of Mitrovic. The court has indications that the transfer would have been arranged at a much higher level and that a lot of black money was involved. The investigators want to know how the money was divided and who received what amount. The role of top agent Pini Zahavi in the deal is also being investigated.

This research is completely unrelated to Operation Zero (or Operation Proper Hands') that erupted in October.
