Arnesen in Sweden for 19-year-old Vagic

TRANSFERS The Swedish Fotboll Direkt knows that Anderlecht shows a strong interest in Pavle Vagic. According to the medium, the Purple & White scouted the 19-year-old midfielder several times. Even Frank Arnesen would have already watched him personally.


Vagic is a youth product of Malmö FF. He debuted in the Swedish first division at the age of 17. The real breakthrough did not happen and last year in August, Malmö rented him out to second-division Jönköpings. He immediately became a fixed value there.

This season (in Sweden the competition runs from March to November), Vagic is rented out to another second-division team Mjällby. He started the first two matches on the bench, but since he came in on the second day of play, he  grabbed his place in the starting eleven.

Vagic mainly plays as center left, but can also play at the center of midfield and as a striker. During the last three international matches of the Swedish U19 he was always in the starting eleven.
