YOUTH Not only the A-team players were recently told whether they still have a future at Anderlecht. The U21 boys also know where they stand. Sport / Footmagazine knows which boys from the U21 can stay next year and who has to leave.

Anderlecht want to furnish their U21 with boys in whom they see future A-core players. Loïc Masscho, Killian Sardella, Lucas Lissens, Théo Leoni, Mathis Suray, Antoine Colassin and Ciryack Olivier Dhauholou will form the backbone of the U21 next season. They are supplemented by some of the boys who participated in the European Championship for U17 this month (Nizet, Kana, Ait El Hadj, Kalulika).

Five U21 players may leave Anderlecht. These are Mardochée Nzita, Mohamed Loua, Mohamed Bouchouari, Elvis Mehanovic and Alan Mayanga. Bouchouari (from Zulte Waregem) and Mehanovic (from Genk) only play for Anderlecht for a year. Bouchouari played regularly at the U21 last season, Mehanovic barely. Left back Nzita has interest from Italy.
