Two Congolese on their way to RSC Anderlecht

TRANSFERS RSC Anderlecht recruited two players at TP Mazembe: Arsène Zola and Meschak Elia. They are expected at Neerpede in the coming days. Meschak is currently still at the Africa Cup with Congo.
 


Meschak Elia:

He is a 21-year-old Congolese right winger, but he can also play on the left wing and as a central striker. He received his training at Don Bosco before moving to TP Mazembe. Since 2016, he has played 31 games in which he scored seven times. This season his real breakthrough came at Mazembe. He also enjoyed interest from Standard and Porto.
 
Meschak is also Congolese international and has eleven selections in which he scored twice. During the current Africa Cup he was on the field three times with Congo. Once this championship is over, he joins RSC Anderlecht.
 
Arsène Zola:
 
Arsène Zola is a 22-year-old central defender who can also play on the left back. He received his training at TP Mazembe. He is part of the national U23 of Congo, which also includes Edo Kayembe. Zola has no selection yet at the Congolese A-team.

He is expected in Brussels from 6 July.
