Dewaele: "Continue the way we are now"

INTERVIEWS Sieben Dewaele completed his first summer training camp with the A-team last week. The 20-year-old midfielder played one half against Ajax. The loss of the Purple & White was of minor importance. "Figures don't say everything. If we keep working hard, we will get there."


"Figures don't say everything. It could have been a very different game", says Dewaele at RSCA.tv. "It's just the start of the preparation. We still have to learn a lot. Everyone knows that Ajax is a good team. We have to continue as we are doing and we still have to take steps forward. If we keep working hard, we will get there."

How does Dewaele, leader of the U21 last season, look back on the week in Venlo? "It was a very nice introduction to Simon Davies and Vincent Kompany. They have a lot of experience. I look forward to learning a lot and continuing to work with them."
