YOUTH The Anderlecht youth academy has fantastic news to report: Mario Stroeykens will sign his first professional contract with Anderlecht in September when he turns 15. No evidence, because Stroeykens is a top talent and enjoyed a lot of foreign interest.
"We are happy that we have reached an agreement," says head of Jean Kindermans Youth Education at rsca.be. "We want to tie him to the club for as long as possible, because we see a bright future for him."
Sports director Michael Verschueren is also pleased that Stroeykens chose Anderlecht over many foreign clubs. "Mario's parents, however, have opted for RSC Anderlecht and the" Purple Talent "project, in which we offer our youth players the best guidance both on and off the pitch.
