TRANSFERS While Anderlecht always excelled with one or more high-level strikers, it is currently still concerning strikers. Het Laatste Nieuws published some interesting tips and rumors.


About Mbokani
When the newspaper asked Anderlecht at the end of last season if there would be a new striker, it would have replied that "there were already four strikers" (five, ed.), Namely Dimata, Santini, Kiese Thelin and the youngsters Dauda and Dhauholou. Dimata was already injured, Santini scored regularly, but turned out not to be good enough in the combination, Thelin was already rented out twice and Dauda and Dhauholou together made zero goals for the A-team. As a result, Purple & White would have abandoned the track of Mbokani, which is now doing very well at Antwerp.

The newspaper also reports interest in the 35-year-old Peruvian Guerrero. The veteran played at Bayern Munich and then went to Hamburg where he met Kompany. He then played with Corinthians, Flamengo and International (since 2018) in Brazil. At the Copa America earlier this summer, he scored three more goals for Peru.
