YOUTH 16-year-old midfielders Nils De Wilde (photo) and Alonzo Engwanda have signed their first professional contract with RSC Anderlecht. The Purple & White once again underline that in the future it will continue to focus on its own youth. Both players are also part of the Purple Talents project.

Engwanda has been playing on Neerpede for ten years, starting with the U6. De Wilde came later and then joined the U12 of Anderlecht.

“Nils and Alonzo are both very talented. By binding them to the club for longer, we give them the opportunity to further develop their talent, "explains Michaël Verschueren.

Jean Kindermans, director of the youth academy is also delighted: "They are both technically skilled, polyvalent midfielders who should become the key players in the U18 and U21 this season".
