Official: Luckassen comes over from PSV

TRANSFERS Derrick Luckassen is the newest player of RSC Anderlecht. The defender comes over from PSV. Luckassen is initially borrowed for one season, but Anderlecht also came up with a purchase option.


Luckassen is by nature a central defender, but can also manage at the right back and at the '6' position. A multipurpose profile, and therefore very interesting for the updated system. The 24-year-old Dutchman of Ghanaian origin is physically strong with his 1.86m. He received his training at AZ, and in 2017 PSV Eindhoven paid five million euros for the defensive player.

Last season, a loan to Hertha Berlin followed, where Luckassen got no further than four games.
