YOUTH National coach Johan Walem has included no fewer than seven Anderlecht players in the selection of the Belgian U21 for the European Championship qualifiers against Wales and Bosnia. Five boys are there for the first time.

Sieben Dewaele and Killian Sardella made their debut in the first team of Anderlecht in recent weeks and made an impression. Jeremy Doku is also one of the youngsters on whom Vincent Kompany wants to build. Just like Albert Sambi Lokonga, even though he didn't play a minute after his return from injury. Johan Walem called the foursome for the first time.

Hannes Delcroix can also report to the U21 for the first time. Anderlecht leases the central defender to RKC Waalwijk. He did not miss a minute of the first four league matches there.

Alexis Saelemaekers is completely sidelined at Anderlecht, but national coach Walem retains confidence in the right winger. The last Anderlecht name in the selection of 22 is the one of Francis Amuzu. Just like Saelemaekers, he was there at the European Championships this summer.

The young Belgians will play their first two qualifiers for the European Championship of 2021 on Friday, September 6 in Wales and on Tuesday, September 10 in Leuven against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
