GAMES On Friday, several players from Anderlecht played for the Red Devils. Substitute Nacer Chadli scored the 0-3 in San Marino. For the U21, the qualifying campaign for the European Championships 2021 started with a loss.

While Chadli and Verschaeren took a seat on the bench in San Marino, goalkeeper Van Crombrugge had no place on the match sheet. Chadli came in early in the second half and brought the necessary fire into the match, along with Mertens, who also came in. Together they took care of the 0-2 and the 0-3. Chadli first gave the assist to Mertens and then he was well followed to put a ball into the goal that the goalkeeper could not keep. The match ended only 0-4, a disappointing result against the country that is very last in the FIFA Ranking.

The U21, with four current and three former Anderlecht players in the starting line-up, went to Wales for the first qualifying match for the European Championship 2021. After three minutes, Wales scored the only goal of the game and the young devils were no longer able to catch up. Sardella, Saelemaekers, Amuzu and Sambi started the game. Doku came on for Sambi in the 71st minute. Former Anderlecht players Svilar, Bornauw and Faes also started the game.
