Muscle injury bothering Saelemaekers

INJURIES According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Alexis Saelemaekers misses the games against Waasland-Beveren and in Charleroi. The young midfielder has sustained a muscle injury and would be out for two weeks.

Saelemaekers is not an undisputed figure this season. The multipurpose flank player first took his place in the stands and on the bench until he was suddenly allowed to start against Standard and immediately scored the only goal of the match. Against Antwerp, however, he suffered a bad ball loss so that Antwerp could score a goal. But earlier this week, he delivered the three assists against Beerschot and allowed Anderlecht to qualify for the next round in the Croky Cup. Anderlecht, still searching for points, will miss the crosses of Saelemaekers in the coming games.
