Suarez still needs to pay 538.000 euros to Anderlecht

OTHER Mattias Suarez had to pay 1.4 million euros to RSC Anderlecht. The reason was his sudden departure in the summer of 2016, as a result of which he committed a breach of contract. The Argentinian also paid but suddenly stopped at 900,000 euros. Anderlecht are now bringing a new case to FIFA.


It still requires 538,000 euros from the player. In the event of non-payment, Belgrano, the club where it was then employed, risks a transfer ban. Suarez himself could be banned from playing, both with his current club River Plate and with the Argentinian national team.
