OTHER In the extra time of the first half of Anderlecht - Cercle Brugge, Yari Verschaeren took his first yellow card as an player in the first team of Anderlecht. Thanks to referee Nicolas Laforge, because yellow was actually exaggerated.

On the stroke of half time, Verschaeren received a push from Cercle player Dekuyper. Too light for a penalty kick, but it certainly wasn't a "schwalbe" either. Nevertheless, Laforge judged that, and so Verschaeren received his first yellow card in the first team of Anderlecht.

Only in his 36th match, 35 in the league and one in the Europa League, does a referee give Verschaeren a card. A sign of the fair play that the Anderlecht product displays.

At the Belgian U21 he also received a yellow card at the European Championships in June. Also then, it was not justified. The referee walked with his eyes open in an Italian piece of commedia del'arte.
