Anderlecht in pole position for Samson Tijani

TRANSFERS The 17-year-old Nigerian midfielder Samson Tijani was noted during the U17 World Cup. His performances have raised the interest of many European top clubs, but according to All Nigeria Soccer, Anderlecht would have the best papers to attract Tijani.


Because the player's father gave no fewer than eight agents a mandate to arrange a transfer for his son, Anderlecht would travel to Nigeria to discuss the deal. Anderlecht must find a solution for those different agents and also for two clubs who believe they have rights to the player. Tijani turns 18 in May 2020 and was captain of the Nigerian team at the U17 World Cup.

An unnamed Italian club would also show interest, just like Real Madrid, Ajax and Manchester United. Anderlecht would like to close the deal within a few days, according to All Nigeria Soccer.
