Chadli uncertain for international games

INJURIES Nacer Chadli did not leave the game at Zulte Waregem unscathed. The winger, who was once again important for Anderlecht with a goal, was again troubled by his calf afterwards.


Chadli stood aside for two weeks with a calf injury. Last Sunday he fell in, yesterday he was in the starting eleven for the first time. The calf played up again during the game. Especially during the second half, he was unable to give everything because of stiffness.

On Monday Chadli must report to the Red Devils in Tubize. It remains to be seen whether he can play against Russia and Cyprus. Because Belgium is already certain of European Championship qualification, there is a chance that national coach Roberto Martinez will decide to leave the winger aside out of precaution.
