OTHER It is not a surprise: Anderlecht will not lift the option in the contract of Samir Nasri. That is what La Dernière Heure writes. As the Frenchman is still not training after an injury sustained in October, chances are that he has already played his last match for Anderlecht.

Anderlecht gave the transfer-free Nasri a one-season contract with an option. Vincent Kompany saw the 32-year-old former star of Arsenal and Manchester City as the ideal player to guide the Anderlecht youngsters. However, it took weeks for Nasri to lose weight and get into shape.

He injured the hamstrings on 5 October. Initially it sounded that the Frenchman would be out for a few weeks. Today he still doesn't train with the group.

Nasri played eight games for Anderlecht and scored two goals
