TRANSFERS Anderlecht want to break the contract of goalkeeper Hendrik Van Crombrugge open. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, the first exploratory talks are already over. Van Crombrugge has quickly become a key player since his arrival. Anderlecht hopes to keep him with an improved contract.

Anderlecht got Van Crombrugge in the summer from Eupen and he signed a contract until 2023. His good performances have aroused interest from Ajax and Schalke 04, among others. By offering Van Crombrugge an improved commitment, Anderlecht hopes to convince him to stay in Brussels.

After all, Purple & White will see Davy Roef leave this summer who is at the end of his contract. Frank Boeckx has been struggling with his back for a long time and seems to be ready at the age of 34 to devote himself to a career as a goalkeeper coach. Finally, there is Thomas Didillon, but Anderlecht would like to sell him this summer. If Van Crombrugge also leaves, Purple & White must search for a new first and second goalkeeper.
