Will there still be a last match day?

GAMES Coping with the corona crisis in the Belgian football world is anything less an succes. It was soon decided to stop the competition, but this created a host of other problems: Waasland-Beveren still had a sporting chance of surviving. OHL was at a disavantage in the battle for promotion (if the return game can be played, this is without an audience anyway) and clubes like Anderlecht also saw their last shot at European football disappear.

It should come as no surprise that all sorts of procedural layers are still pending, even in BAS. Waasland Beveren demanded to ply the last match day to be able to decide on the descent in a sporty way. However, there still no statement. Several pending are still open. Do you finish the match day or just the game that revolve around the descent? Antwerp and Oostend are already opposing the first option, as their playres currently have little contract and Ghent isn't really interested in that idea either.

The situations is also complicated because the new players are not elegible to play. OHL has also faced this problem in the battle for promotion. The Leuvenaars, like Antwerp and Oostend, face a player shortage. Will a competition with 18 teams an option next year (whit Waasland Beveren, Beerschot and OH Leuven)?
