INJURIES Chances were that Vincent Kompany would miss the start of the competition and that news has now also been confirmed. The defender has a crack in the adductor muscles and is out for at least a month. He will therefore miss the games against STVV and Mouscron.
It remains to be seen whether Kompany will even play before September. Not everyone recovers quickly from that type of injury.
