Nobody wants Trebel anymore

TRANSFERS Currently, no club is interested in taking over Adrien Trebel from Anderlecht. The names of Nantes and the Egyptian Al-Ahly (the club of René Weiler) are occasionally in the rumor circuit, but there is currently no interest.



Because of Corona nobody wants to take a risk to get an expensive player with a troubling injury history. The knee and abdominal muscles have been troubling Trebel for quite some time. Since the friendly games are now forbidden for spectators, just like the training sessions, no one can really see how Trebel is doing.

Anderlecht barely ask for a transfer fee for Trebel. The Frenchman is allowed to play in friendly games pending a departure. According to Trebel's entourage, the midfielder hopes for a club from the sub-top of a major competition. A transfer to the Middle East does not appeal to him.
