OTHER At the age of 17, Nathan Kabasele was one of the biggest talents of Anderlecht. Today he is 26 and after many wanderings and a year without a club, the striker has now signed a contract with a club in Iraq.

In August 2011, Anderlecht and Belgian football were introduced to Kabasele. He was allowed to come in at home against Bergen when the team was 0-2 behind. A few flashes, an assist and a goal later it was 2-2. PSV, Barcelona and Manchester United were interested, but Kabasele stayed with Anderlecht.

His stormy debut did not have a sequel. Loans to Westerlo, De Graafschap, Torino and Mouscron followed. In 2017, Anderlecht let him leave to the Turkish second division team Gaziantep. This was followed by short adventures with Union and the Romanian Voluntarii. His contract was terminated there in January last year.

After a year and a half, Kabasele is now going to play football again. He signed a two-year deal with Al-Diwaniya from Iraq.
