Verschaeren's agents want more money

OTHER Anderlecht is not only talking with Jeremy Doku about a contract extension, Anderlecht also wants to keep Yari Verschaeren for a longer period. However, these conversations are not going so smoothly. Verschaeren's agent wants a pay raise, while the youngster already has a very nice salary.


In March last year, six months after his breakthrough, Anderlecht extended Verschaeren's contract until mid-2022. He then also received a very nice salary raise.

Anderlecht want to keep Verschaeren a bit longer, but without an extra wage raise. Since the new management trio Vandenhaute, Van Eetvelt and Verbeke is there, new economic realities have emerged within Anderlecht.

 This is a disappointment for the Dutch agent of Verschaeren. Vincent Kompany expects that after some time both parties will reach an agreement.
