Official: Bouchouari signs for 1,5 years

TRANSFERS Mohamed Bouchouari is again a player of Anderlecht. The 20-year-old right back has signed a contract until mid-2022. Bouchouari already played a season with the Purple & White U21 in 2018-2019.


Bouchouari came over from Zulte Waregem in 2018, but left after one season to become a professional at Dudelange in Luxembourg under the wings of coach Emilio Ferrera. At Dudelange, he played six games in the group stage of the Europa League (He gave two assists), but he did not get a new contract last summer.

The clubless Bouchouari has been training with Anderlecht for a while and now sees his work rewarded with a (modest) contract for 1.5 years. With only Michael Murillo as the real right back, Kompany didn't have a lot of options for that position. Bouchouari gets shirt number 34.
