Official: Nmecha until 2025 at Wolfsburg

TRANSFERS Lukas Nmecha has got his new club. The German striker, last season's key player at Anderlecht, leaves Manchester City permanently and signs a contract with Wolfsburg until 2025. The transfer fee would be eight million euros.


In the 2019-2020 season, Nmecha already played for Wolfsburg for half a year, but that was not a success then. "I'm looking forward to seeing many familiar faces again and finally showing what I'm worth," he says on the Wolfsburg website. "I have continued to follow Wolfsburg after I left. I want to do my part to ensure that the team continues to be successful and we achieve our goals."
