Lot of players leave during international break

OTHER Training on automatisms will hardly be an option for Vincent Kompany in the coming days. No less than 18 players from the A-team were called up for their national team. Murillo makes the long journey to Panama and newcomer Kouamé was also called up for the Ivory Coast.


- Anouar Ait El Hadj, Lucas Lissens, Marco Kana, Killian Sardella and Yari Verschaeren: Belgian U21 against Turkey, Euro U21 qualifier. Afterwards, Verschaeren joins the selection of the Red Devils for the match in Belarus.
- Zeno Debast, Nils Dewilde (RSCA U21), Mario Stroeykens and Alonzo Engwanda (RSCA U21): Belgian U19, two friendly games.
- Amir Murillo travels to Panama to play three World Cup qualifiers against Costa Rica, Jamaica and Mexico.
- Josh Cullen plays with Ireland against Portugal, Azerbaijan and Serbia.
- Kristoffer Olsson and Isaac Kiese Thelin play with Sweden against Spain, Uzbekistan and Greece.
- Majeed Ashimeru travels to Ghana to face Ethiopia and South Africa in the World Cup qualifiers.
- Newcomer Christian Kouamé plays with Ivory Coast in the World Cup qualifier against Mozambique and Cameroon.
- Taylor Harwood-Bellis (English U21), Sergio Gómez (Spanish U21), Kristian Arnstad (Norwegian U19), Bart Verbruggen and Joshua Zirkzee (Dutch U21) complete the long list.
