Overview international games: victories and losses

YOUTH A week full of international football has started. Yesterday two Anderlecht players came into action. Kristian Arnstad (picture) played with the Norwegian U19, Luca Monticelli with the Belgian U17.


Arnstad and co recorded a smooth 3-0 win against Kosovo. The Anderlecht midfielder played the entire game. It was the first game as part of the qualifications for the European Championship next year. Norway will play Wales on Saturday and Georgia on Tuesday.

The Belgian U17 have started their European Championship qualifying round with a major letdown. In Neerpede, Belgium lost 0-1 to Luxembourg. Monticelli was replaced at half time. Goalkeeper Wout Meese was not on the match sheet. Belgium will play against Azerbaijan on Saturday and against Norway on Tuesday.
