Zirkzee gives Young Netherlands point

GAMES Joshua Zirkzee has given the Dutch U21a draw in a qualifying match for the European Championship in Switzerland. The Netherlands were 2-0 behind, but Zirkzee scored both goals to end the game at 2-2.


The Dutch U21 were 2-0 behind on the artificial grass in Lausanne after an hour. Zirkzee then scored the 2-1 on a corner and the 2-2 with a header, twenty minutes before the end. The striker continues his good form of the past few weeks.

On Tuesday, the Dutch U21 will play their next qualifying game against Wales.
