OTHER Most clubs have now filed their annual accounts, although some are still missing; including Anderlecht's. However, Peter Verbeke confirmed that the club made a loss of 29.1 million euros. The recently implemented capital increase must therefore serve to fill the deep pits (because also last year, the account colored blood red).

Anderlecht would be the most loss-making of all first division teams. The ailing Standard would 'only' be in the red by 19.7 million, followed by Antwerp and Union with respectively 10.4 and 8.9 million in red figures. Racing Genk, last year still in the black, also made a loss. But the club does have the largest reserves of all professional clubs.

KV Mechelen, Charleroi, KV Kortrijk, Zulte Waregem and Club Brugge posted modest profits. Club scored the best result with 1.9 million profit, thanks to the Champions League. The West Flemish also carried out a capital increase but it is not yet in the books.
