DAMES After Johan Walem decided to quit as coach of RSCA Women, Anderlecht found Dave Mattheus (36) as his successor. Mattheus once trained with the U23 team and then went to KAA Gent. With Gent he won the cup twice. The arrival of Mattheus had already been announced in the media.

Mattheus is someone who knows women's soccer very well after his passages with Anderlecht and KAA Gent. He has to help shape the new project of the team by, among other things, ensuring a through-flow of youth and the further development of the youth work. CEO Peter Verbeke confirmed that it is important to have someone like Mattheus at the head of RSCA Women.

Besides Mattheus the new players Marie Minnaert and Silke Vanwynsberghe were also officially presented.
