Kana: "There is competition everywhere"

INTERVIEWS Like Zeno Debast, Marco Kana was surprised by the departure of Vincent Kompany. Felice Mazzu is now in charge of Anderlecht with a different style as a person and as a coach. The group has been running a lot during the preparation.


"I think that physically we are more advanced than last year", says Kana.

Now it's time for the 3-5-2, where Kana has to find his place. 

"In this system, I am the only '6' with two real 'pockets' in front of me. As I always play with three defenders at my back, the '6' also has to think more forward, which took me some time to adapt."

Adrien Trebel as n° 6, the competition will be tough at RSCA

"There is competition everywhere, for me it's just an extra source of motivation. Adrien is a good friend of mine and a very good player. He always pushes me to become better and vice versa. And I think we have seven or eight games in August alone, the chances are coming anyway."
