INTERVIEWS With a fine header, Fabio Silva tried to give Anderlecht a point in the closing stages, but the goalkeeper saved. The Portuguese hasn't scored for five matches now. "That's not abnormal. It's impossible to score in every match," he said after the game.

"I am disappointed that we lost, but I am proud of the team" Silva said before Sporza's microphone. "West Ham is the best team in our group. In London next week we must have the same ambition: to win."

Silva came close to scoring the 1-1 in the closing stages. "But it was a great save by Aréola," the striker said. "We tried everything. We wanted to score and play football."

After a strong start, things have been running a little rough for Silva. "That's not abnormal. It's impossible to score in every game. Of course I try to score every game, but I want to do more than that. I want to help the team with my soccer and the goals will follow."
