Vergoote referee during Antwerp - Anderlecht

GAMES Referee Jasper Vergoote will lead the match between Antwerp and Anderlecht on Sunday. He will be assisted by linesmen Rien Vanyzere and Thibaud Nijssen and fourth official Bert Put.


The last time Vergoote whistled an Anderlecht match was on 31 October last year. Purple and white then played a 2-2 draw at home against OH Leuven. It was the match in which Majeed Ashimeru saved a ball on the goal line in the 97 minute with his hand and OHL striker Kaba missed the subsequent penalty kick.
