INTERVIEWS Hannes Delcroix would normally start at left back, but due to the injury of Jan Vertonghen he shifted to the center. "I was happy to do that," he laughed afterwards. "And I'm glad it worked out well."
Delcroix thought it was a game that went well up and down. After the break, he saw a better Antwerp and Anderlecht also had some luck at times, he acknowledged. "But the draw was deserved. I'm happy we kept the zero for the second time in a row. Everyone worked hard and ran a lot for that."
Under Robin Veldman, Anderlecht seems to be rebounding. Delcroix also feels good about the new coach's approach. "He likes to play soccer and likes to have possession of the ball. I like hearing that. We are playing good soccer now and in a system where we move a lot. We have to build on this."
