Vertonghen plays 20 minutes with Red Devils

GAMES Jan Vertonghen made his reappearance yesterday in the friendly game against Egypt after about two weeks of injury. He was substituted twenty minutes before time. Zeno Debast played the entire match.


Before the match, coach Martinez said that Vertonghen had trained with the group for the first time on Thursday. If he digested today's substitution and the upcoming training sessions well, he might start in the starting lineup against Canada. Although we have to say that his replacement Arthur Theate played a very solid game today.
