Silva: "Back to the Wolves? No idea"

INTERVIEWS Is there a chance Fabio Silva will return to Wolverhampton in January? La Dernière Heure asked the Portuguese. "I can't answer this because I don't know. But if Wolverhamton bring me back, it means that I did well at Anderlecht."


"My focus is currently on the cup game against Genk (Wednesday, ed.). The mercato doesn't open until January. I'm a player, so I have no control over the situation. It's not in my hands, so I'd rather not speak out about it."

Silva says he has not yet received a phone call from Julen Lopetegui, Wolverhamton's new coach. "But the club is in constant contact with me. They ask how I feel and if I need anything. When we played at West Ham, they were there to talk to me."

"But as long as I'm at Anderlecht, I want to help this club get to the top of the ranking. Anderlecht gave me the chance to play, gain confidence and score goals. I want to give them back more than I have done so far."

La Dernière Heure adds that Anderlecht are not worried (yet): a return of Silva to Wolverhampton is currently not on the table.
