Right back Rota on the radar

TRANSFERS According to football website La Gazzetta Express, Anderlecht are showing interest in Lazaros Rota, AEK Athens' 25-year-old right-back. However, a transfer would not be so easy. With his good performances, he is also attracting interest from Italy and France.


Rota has been playing for AEK Athens since the summer of 2021 and since then his market value has quadrupled to €1.2 million. He is also part of the Greek national team. His tally stands at six international appearances since 2020. Rota is still under contract until mid-2024.
