INJURIES Thomas Henry, who the media said was close to a transfer to Anderlecht, knows the verdict of the injury he sustained on Saturday. Examination shows that the 28-year-old striker has torn the cruciate ligament of his right knee. A months-long rehabilitation awaits him.
Henry was allowed to substitute seven minutes before time at Hellas Verona on Saturday. In the added time, fate struck.
A transfer to Anderlecht, or another club, is therefore off the table for the Frenchman. Club Brugge and other Italian clubs also had him on their radar.
